This CD absolutely rocks. From the blistering "The Masterplan" to the touching "State Of Paralysis", this is top notch metal. You can just hear the pain on "Different Worlds". Excellent disc. Best of 2001.

I bought this CD on a whim...and boy am I glad I did. When I first heard this disc, I thought it was OK (That's right...just OK). Then, I gave it a second listen...and it got a little better. By the sixth or seventh listen I am totally in awe of these guys. In my whole life, I have never had a CD grow on me like this one. Tom Englund's vocals are just phenomenal! I can fell the emotional turmoil through his voice. I really hope that this band makes it to the USA someday.GO OUT AND GET IT!

This album was the reason why a musically very wide oriented man switched to metal.... Bought it more than a year ago and been crazy bout it since. It's a combination between emotionally strong lyrics and very powerful music. Though it's about alien abductions the lyrics can be given much meaning. The guitar play by Danhage is very strong. The new album RECREATION DAY is even stronger though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVERGREY BEST METAL BAND OUT THERE!!!!

I just got RECREATION DAY, my first taste of Evergrey but it won't be my last... I had been reading so much good stuff about them on the Net the past few years but had never checked'em out until now. Good stuff!
